Harvest

Field

where tractor trailed
where plough plundered
where harvester hacked
where grain grew

where worm worked
where rabbit ran
where hawk hovered
where fieldmouse fled

where breezes bruised
where rain rent
where sun soothed
where I lie

poem © Celia Warren

The poem's an old one, but the pictures were all from today's walk, including the little Speckled Brown butterfly.
