Leaving Newcastle from North Shields

Taken from the ferry heading for Amsterdam, an overnight crossing departing from North Shield port Newcastle. A few minutes after boarding we bumped into friends from Lincoln who were spending tomorrow in Amsterdam and returning on the next overnight crossing.

It was a beautiful evening gliding out on the North Sea made all the better by spotting dozens of dolphins.
