Swan on the Seine

It was a warm and sunny afternoon, so I drove out to the village of Hericy, which has a lovely long grassy stretch along the Seine, lined with trees for shade, and dotted with wooden benches. I sat and read my Kindle - I'm currently reading The Sandcastle Girls by Chris Bohjalian. There wasn't much traffic on the river this afternoon - no barges, just a couple of pleasure boats and a guy paddleboarding, but there were plenty of ducks and swans, so I chose this swan as my blip for today.
