Franz Ferdinand at the Electric, Brixton

I was really pleased to have tickets for the Franz Ferdinand gig this evening. It was a chance to go to the Electric, a venue in Brixton that I'd not been to before and it's so local. Also, I watched Franz Ferdinand give such an energetic performance at the Beck gig that both Fred and I were eager to see them play a full set. We weren't disappointed. They crowd surfed (while still playing guitar), bounced up and down, scissor-kicked and ran to and fro for the whole gig. The crowd were fantastic and the smaller venue meant a really good atmosphere. We found a balcony that gave us a fantastic viewpoint.
