Gurkhas

The Gurkhas are inextricably linked with the pretty town of Brecon in South Wales, where their infantry battle school is based. Gurkha soldiers are frequently seen around Brecon and exercise their rights as honorary freemen of the town with an annual parade. The Nepalese diaspora in the UK is in seventh place worldwide. Gurkha and Nepal imagery can be seen in many places, including the Gurkha Corner restaurant, where this photo was taken.
