A frilly flower

I planted this Camellia scrub several years, and this year it has lots of flower buds just about ready to bust open. It has beautiful double cream coloured blooms.

It's been a cool day, with several bursts of heavy rain, which left a dusting of snow on the mountains. Winter is still with us.
