(Spicy) Plum Chutney
With yesterday's glut of 'in-law plums' I made this. Possibly over did the chilli flakes but I've been assured that the spice will mellow as it matures.
I've only used half of what I collected and I am still trying to eat through this monster. As if by design, I found a recipe for Courgette & Plum chutney! Amazing! Will be popping out for more ingredients and sterilising more jars later!
2 weeks until it matures and then we (and whoever gets gifted some) will be able to enjoy with cold meats and cheese - I feel a Ploughman's in the offing!
