At home: making a smile.....

I always try picture my children opening their lunchbox at school. I imagine how hungry they get. I remember how I used to get through the morning, knowing that the first break time was a little closer to lunchtime.

Its their first day back after a summer of eating at your leisure, pretty much. The formulaic school day is good for putting hunger back at the time it's supposed to be at. No more mid morning fridge raiding. No more food grazing on the go. No more late summer meals.

It's the first opening of that lunchbox. The bit of home revealed. A bit of home that stayed a bit summery. There's the starry cupcakes we made.

That will make them smile x
