Florida Everglades

We headed down to Miami today, and on the way as part of the tour we went to a wildlife centre, where they took us on the special boats that you see on CSI: Miami and things to see the alligators. We were really lucky to have one come right up next to our boat and swim around it. You can see it's teeth if you look closely, and the tour guide told us that this shows it's a male, since it has been fighting and that's why his teeth stick out all over the place.

When we got back 'on shore' we saw some of the other creatures at the centre, including a ten foot alligator. We also held a baby alligator and I held a snake (just so that I could scare my dad with the photo when I got back - he hates snakes!)
