Day 1 at big girl school

Looking around the playground this morning at the angst ridden faces of some parents, it was comforting to know Lylah was already familiar with the school and many of the pupils. That said, I felt the lump in my throat rise when I kissed her goodbye for her first full day. So proud when she sat composed, cross legged on the carpet, taking it all in, with her name in big red letters stuck to her 'room for growth' cardigan.

Finn & I spent the rest of the day waiting for 3:10pm to roll around. A walk around Pugneys wasn't quite as hectic without Lylah & I sadly felt her absence despite the sun & tranquility.

Overall a memorable day, rounded off nicely this evening with a couple of hours of giggling with Lisa R swapping childhood memories, sorting buttons & sipping some red. Thanks Gary for helping out xx
