Downtown Reykjavik

Believe it or not, this was taken on the same Reykjavik street that Cynthia blipped today. It's quite a contrast with most of the street, which is more accurately reflected in her blip.

We've caught up a bit on the lack of sleep during the last few days and the overnight flight from Toronto.

Our journey was memorable for the wrong kind of reasons -- the worst being a lost credit card which was eventually recovered.

The rescue effort would not have been possible without superlative customer service from Natasha in the KLM departure lounge. After several phone calls to locate my card in the shuttle bus kiosk outside the terminal entrance, she rapidly escorted me there and back, circumventing all the formalities except the security check.

I wonder what it is about travel that seems to disable so many brain cells -- temporarily, I hope.

P.S. Don't miss my back-blipped regal photo of Cynthia for yesterday.
