Growing Up

A big day today. First day of High School. He was up early, managed to tie his own tie, packed his bag and was off to meet his friends so they could all walk in together.

Didn't get home from work until 9.30 pm so haven't had a chance to catch up with him but did have a brief chat on the phone and I gather he had a good day! I was very impressed to find that he's hung up the blazer and got a clean shirt out for tomorrow. There is evidence that the blazer has been used a goal post (mud!) though.

Hubby has already grounded him for a week as he went to a friends after school and was 5 mins later than the agreed time to be home for his dinner! (It'll be me that has to enforce that one as well!)
