Is the sky half sunny or half cloudy?
I am thinking of this paraphrase at a terrace in the park in front of a half glass of beer. The missing half, I have already enjoyed and the rest will follow shortly so I am really happy about both halfs no matter how I call them. Both the beer and the walk in the park are well deserved prezzies after the long day on both sides of the class.
About my teaching ... CELTA memories are overwhelming. If I were to quote Sue it would be fair to say that the students had a nice and useful time although my timming was pants! (again I would add). As to the way I feel about it, quoting Maz this time, it is appropriate so I say that we live and learn. I feel way more relaxed than after the same half failure in the CELTA and I can find three different reasons for it. (1) I grew up a little and I don't take everything so tragic anymore, (2) it is the very first TP so I am more "entitled" to make mistakes since I am here to learn and (3) I am really less tired than I was when this happened in the CELTA.
I am looking ahead to a long night of work but it's going to be a really quiet and rellaxed one since I am preparing for a day of observation tasks and nice ahead preparing of the thursday lesson.
P. S. Although I have no ideea who if anybody is reading my thoughts I really start enjoying this. It is a nice pleasant way of ending the day and maybe sorting out some thoughts. I appologise if the details become a little too technical at times but I know that there is at least one person who knows exactly what I am talking about. In Romania, we had a nice beer commercial that turned into a saying which I feel like adding here, everytime it seems only me and her will really get the whole meaning: "friends know why!".
