Women's Adult Education

This is Miriam on the left, our head of Adult Education, with some of her students, mainly married women, or grannies, who have never got to school. This course has a wide range of diverse topics. In this we have a special pilot project which covers about 12 weeks and is fully focused on speaking and writing English, which in Malawi is the official language of the later stages of Education, of Government and business.
In recent times some of our students decide to finish primary education and go on to Secondary by way of night school.
They are truly amazing women of substance
