It's oh so quiet...shh...shh!

These two went back to school/preschool today. Most the day it was just me and baby Arwen. It felt very peaceful! A friend and her baby came over for lunch, which was nice.

Grace is in a joint y1/2 class of 31 children this year. Until half term they are cramped into a small room in the old first school building whilst the middle school is converted into their new primary. She seemed to have got on ok after being very quiet this morning when I left her there. Ophelia breezed back into preschool like she breezes into most things, though both were tired tonight, and Grace's attitude had changed. Can tell she's amongst lots of kids again, some of the cheek she tried (and failed) to pull. She had her best friend over for tea and the little lad next door also hopped over the garden fence to join in. So the peace was well and truly shattered!
Managed an hour and a half of tennis tonight after the girls were in bed.
