Evening by Oscar's Hall Castle
Another late evening Blip from Oslo. Today I found my way to the peninsula of Bygdøy on the western side of the city. The place is well known for its numerous museums, some of them quite interesting; like the Kon-Tiki Museum, which features the legendary expeditions of Thor Heyerdahl, the Viking Ship Museum - and my own favourite museum, the Norwegian Maritime Museum with its main attraction the polar ship Fram, used by Roald Amundsen.
Bygdøy Royal Estate, the official summer residence of the King and Oscar's Hall Castle are also located here. The Holmenkollen ski jump can be seen in the background as well.
