Pipeline

It looks innocuous enough but somewhere underneath this marker is the BP Forties Pipeline which brings around 700 thousand barrels of oil, under high pressure, to Grangemouth every day, around 1/3 of the UK's oil supply. The pipeline comes ashore in Bo'ness and it's all hidden under the beautiful area we walk the dog every day. Scary really and I try not to think about it too much.
