Swallow

I went over to Godrevy Nature Reserve late this afternoon. The light was very good, if not a bit strong. There were lots of different birds, but the most impressive were the swallows flying about and sitting on the wire fences. It took some time to be able to get close enough to them to get a reasonable image.

There are several lakes and ponds there I tried to capture them in flight, as you know they are very fast flyers, but I did manage to get a couple of shots which is the first time I have manage to get anywhere near capturing one. Also I managed to get one of the young with his beak wide open and two images of lots of them on the fence, see here.
