The Modern Market

This is the landmark nearest to my apartment, Utako Market. Blip entry is brief - but wanted to explain lack of updates. I really do want to get into the routine of one a day, but since starting school (not even with the kids yet) it has been SO busy, and so crammed that I have had no moments to spare..and I found out yesterday that lucky for me, I have malaria! A day in hospital and tests, tests and tests later, I have a tray full of medication (and a very understanding work place!) and a few days instructed to get well. As I've been told - and now experienced - the medication is actually more sickening that malaria itself. Feeling left groggy and sick is unpleasant, but I am very pleased we caught it early and I can get rid of it before the kids come screaming on Monday. What else can happen?! (Or is that the worst thing you can say...)
