In the Heavenlies

Left Spain in the dark, and saw the sun rise with the cuticle moon still high in the sky. We have got so blasé about flying, but it is actually an amazing privilege, that none of our forebears would ever have had - to look at our world from above the clouds.

It was stunning every time I looked. Maybe because I'm seeing it with fresh eyes after miraculously losing my lifelong fear of flying not that long ago.
