The river at Beaulieu

I met a friend today in Beaulieu , and we walked around in the sunshine eating ice cream
We sat a while by the river, as you can see the tide was out, but there were lots of ducks and swans expecting to get fed by the visitors.

As we walked past a row of cute little cottages, a tall American gentlemen said to me
"Do people live in here? They are so tiny...it looks like toy town!"
