Above the mist

When I left home this morning it was bright sunshine without a cloud in the sky. A couple of miles down the road I hit a bank of fog/mist in the valley and between the gaps the tops of the mountains were visible. Took a chance and drove the long way into work over the mountain and could clearly see the mist hanging in the valley below.
