Median Strip

Out early this morning to go to the airport. Started my journey at Sana Junction as normal and this is the median strip leading up to it. People who visit Dubai are often amazed at all the landscaping and greenery on the roads. A lot of money and effort is spent making the city look beautiful and for us residents, it's brilliant. All of this is watered by a drip system using treated sewage water.

Nice to have some company again! G very pleased to be home and the flame tree flowering a second time was just an added bonus. Took her for a drive so she could familiarise herself with Dubai - remember which side of the road she should be on etc!! And believe it or not, one of the schools she did supply for before the summer called her asking if she could do 12-2:30pm today. She gave her apologies.
