Timid visitor

I've been trying to get a shot of this moorhen for weeks. It visits my garden most days, but all I usually see is a silhouette in the shadows under the rose arch. This was taken with a shaky zoom lens through the kitchen window - not easy, when you're in agony with back pain. I can't get any closer. If it catches sight of any movement through the window, it's off like a shot. Even the pigeons frighten it. There was a juvenile with it a while ago, but nowadays I only see one.
