Fly,fly, butterfly
Beautiful sunny day and warm but still windy. Just need the tides to change around again.
Still plenty of butterflies around, counted about four Red admirals,A large white,Five peacocks, one remaining small tortoise shell and a couple of painted ladies.
I used the flash on this red admiral as I found the colours are illuminated. The red admiral is common throughout the British Isles including Orkney and Shetland and can be found from the beach, to gardens and mountain tops. The ones we have in Scotland are likely to be migrants from Central Europe. Some do survive the winter in the South and these will be seen in early May.
The tumble drier drawer is nt leaking anymore so problem solved.
