Morning

post brought an interesting set of letters.

Insurance for mature citizens needs renewing - although they have that comforting system of "do nothing and we will just take some money and renew".

My MP has written a letter in response to an email about That Syria Vote, explaining why she didn't follow my suggestion. Actually I suspect she used some of the money we all provide to pay someone to create the letter, stuff the envelope and set it on the way by train and truck to be delivered to my door. Honestly, Harriet, an email would have been fine.

But the real treat was a CD from Little Miss Higgins in Canada. I have a vague memory of investing some small sun in a crowd-sourced fundraising (must have been PledgeMusic) for her delicious album recorded in frozen Manitoba.

A good start to the day.
