Tom on the Square

I wandered to the library after a serious morning and afternoon doing not much in the hope it would rain.

If it rained I would not have to resume yesterday's work in the garden. That hadn't happened so I was in no hurry to get to the library and back lest it not rain and I be burdened with guilt when I got back for not immediately resuming work. I noticed the balloons suspended from the walk rail. When I turned to admire their eccentricity and frame them up for a photo that might capture these eccentrics, lo and behold who did I see coming in my direction but in the distance, my friend from the supermarket watching me all the way.

Tom is excellent in his workplace. Spending any time with him is a pleasure and we discussed the balloons. We turned on an unspoken agreement together that we would follow the trail. Today was our local Daffodil Day's Cup of Tea Get-Together so we found the foyer of the theatre bustling with its activity raising funds for cancer research. We didn't attend. Tom had responsibilities to follow through to attend to and I had to resume my work in the garden after I had called into the library. :)

All that remains is for me to recall whose challenge I accepted to contribute a square photo. :)

btw I ever so reluctantly resumed my work in the garden later in the afternoon. :)
