Royalty

This stag is a Royal Stag as each of his antlers has six points or tines. The tines all have different names, from the head up they are brow, bey and trey. The top three are known as the cup and should be equally spaced on a good set of antlers. I hope he doesn't fall prey to poachers. These antlers would be much in demand.

This is the closest I have ever been to a red deer stag; he was less than three metres away. Fortunately there was a fence and a window between us. I would not venture as close as this otherwise.
