Commute

Maybe you've been wondering why I have been so interested in farming lately. It might have something to do with being surrounded by farms everyday.

Only steps from my house, this is the path I walk to work twice a week. There's a nice river on one side and a family farm on the other. I watch the crops change, the vegetables grow and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet before and after dealing with my crazy junior high students.

I've seen snakes, frogs, crabs, all kinds of bugs, and even a skinless bird carcass. Wild!
