To Get on Line

I am sure this photographic subject will be very common at this time of year.

When you are cycling along and swallows start lining up above your head then you know that they are getting ready to fly south.

There is always an assumption that these birds are local and this is their first sign of preparation. But who is to say whether or not these birds aren't already on their journey down the west coast of Scotland?
