Old Maloney had a farm

And on his farm he had some cows. Back in the early 1900s, he also had this butter churn, which now sits on the verandah of the museum run by the Clyde River & Batemans Bay Historical Society. The dairy was to the north of the Bay and was demolished many years ago. Its owner's name lives on in the suburb of Maloney's Beach.
