Coriander and Poppy Seeds

Yesterday a friend and fellow Blipper, WildCardinal, posted a super macro shot of poppy seeds, revealing a wonderful architectural pattern on these tiny seeds which I defy anyone to see with the naked eye.

I just had to have a go with seeds from my own garden. I added corriander seeds from the spice rack to provide a different view, and used a focus stack of 9 photos to overcome the extremely shallow DOF from my macro lens with full set of extension tubes fitted.
