Fishing At Fishers Green

I went for a walk at Fishers Green this evening. I got some nice pics but sadly not one of an otter. :( I saw its hind quarters and tail on the opposite bank of the river and hung around but it didn't show again. :(

The light was gorgeous. I was photographing some ducks at Hooks Marsh, everything was bathed in gold.

Suddenly this Great Crested Grebe surfaced with a fish in its beak and the shimmering golden surface was shot with blue. Purple loosestrife was reflected, making for a very colourful scene.
