Sunflower

As my Sunflowers were a dismal failure this year (due to being eaten by slugs/snails and my not making enough effort to protect them), I picked up a bunch from Bob the Flower on the way home this evening.

Pretty short stemmed things they are too and he's due to get more in which is good to know.

The vase is one of my charity shop buys when in Edinburgh - it might be a bit too fancy to go with the Sunflower but it's too late to worry about that now!
