Friends & neighbours

We share our veg patch and greenhouse with the Prof, pictured here. His wife is kind and warm. They have lived here for over 40 years. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement and a delight as they are such lively interesting characters. The Prof is full of mischievous fun and very caring.
I had a wonderful walk across the fields this evening in the warm wind. We watched hundreds of swallows and house martins scooting around. It was brilliant watching them. Home famished for our dinner - some lovely potatoes.
