Theology Inspiring Science and Art

I love the John Rylands Library, it's like a Victorian Gothic church built of dark red sandstone. I studied there a couple of times when I was a student and found the surroundings very distracting. This is a sculpture by John Cassidy on the main staircase; I would have preferred a shot of the main reading room but it was even darker than this.
