A Day at the Movies

Our grandchildren are confused when I mention going to the 'pictures' or the 'cinema' which is what it was known as when I was younger; now the word is 'movies'.

So today, which is Victoria's last day of the school holidays, (Oliver has one more day before he goes back) was spent watching two movies, which they discvered the other day that I had never seen; 'Finding Nemo' and then 'Monsters Inc'. This viewing was accompanied by sweet and salty popcorn, as well as sweets, crisps and drinks, but no ice cream, in the intermission.

This picture was taken with my iPhone and shows Mr A and Victoria, note what is in her hands. She has fetched a chair/bed in so that Mr A could lay the full length of the three seater settee although at this point he is sitting up to drink his coffee.
