And it's goodbye from him
This interesting rust bleed from a nail in a wall will be my last blip.
I discovered what happened to Saturday's blackhouse blip that vanished without trace. A misunderstanding on my part about back blipping led to me being reported to the powers that be by some petty-minded pedant (you know who you are). My post was then moderated and removed without explanation or reference to me.
Now, I broke the rules. So fair enough. A polite warning and intimation that the offending post was to be removed would have done the trick. I have to say, though, that its summary removal was, in itself, not what pushed me to leave. What did, and what left a quite nasty taste in my mouth, was that someone in this otherwise friendly community saw fit to report me. I cannot conceive of a situation in which I would have done the same, and the person who did has forever tarnished the enjoyment I took in participating in this world of blip. I hope he/she is happy.
I have made many friends and enjoyed many photographs and posts in my nearly nine months of blipping, and it is with regret that I take my leave. If anyone does want to keep up with me they can do so on Twitter (@authorpetermay), or on my FB author page - http://www.facebook.com/petermayauthor
