Thailand Burma railway cemetry

I felt very ignorant walking through the Thailand Burma Railway Centre. I felt like I'd only been told about half of WWII at school. I had vaguely heard of the death railway but I had no idea over 4,000 British PoWs died. What got me most though was the estimated 20,000 Asian labourers who perished but weren't even given the dignity of a marked grave. I will never understand war.
