Life in a Northern Town

BrimhamRocks - I chose this one as it shows some of the spectacular Nidderdale landscape.

We love Brimham Rocks, always have great adventures there, although Sarah was not so keen on scrambling up the rocks without her big brother. And they do fabulous pasties!

A couple more shots here and here - especially for my Blip friend who likes rocks (you know who you are...)
Not sure I chose the right one to Blip, couldn't make up my mind....

I drove there with no problem via Leeds and Harrogate, with no map or sat nav to aid navigation. Turned out of the car park the wrong way and took us all on a lovely tour of the Dales by mistake. Slightly stressed as I had very little fuel and neither Sarah nor the dog has any sense of direction! 2 hours later, and only one phone call to John later we arrived home via Skipton and Bradford, with me desperate for a cup of tea (sounding like my mother). But we saw some fabulous scenery, including this rainbow, so it was worth it!

Now it really is back to school time.....
