The Old Priory, Beechworth
My buddy Pete and I drove to the Victorian town of Beechworth, about 4 hours from Canberra. We went for a large format photography group meet-up.
The town is a lovely, well preserved historic town, originally a thriving gold field town. We stayed in this place for the weekend, which is a converted church building. We asked a local where the best place to eat in town was. He warned us off going to the Bakery saying "there's only so much you can do with dog food and pastry". Needless to say we stayed away from the bakery.
