Sunrise and Sunset..

.. and in between it was a lovely day here in Edinburgh. Woke up at about 6am and couldn't get back to sleep so had a bit of a tidy up in the guest bedroom as we have a friend coming to stay at the weekend. The sun was just about to come into view.

Then this evening I went upstairs at about 9.30pm to use the PC and saw this lovely sunset. Blipped!! Got lots of washing dried outside too, always seems nicer than hanging it up indoors ;-)

My sister texted me this morning: "I've had a lovely cup of tea and I'm not in pain. Bliss. There is an epidural in place but I've got a good feeling about things, S x" I am SO relieved. I hope to go down there (Gloucestershire) in a couple of weeks to give her a hand (she's had both knees replaced). I am certain she will work hard at her rehabilitation as she wants to finish her nursing training (5 more weeks placement and a dissertation to go).
