Delights of Spring

Discarded and glowing in the sunlight, a daffodil with a stem just long enough for a child's small hand. Was it mistakenly dropped, perhaps on the way to school, a gift to brighten a teacher on this Monday morn. It lay upon the glistening grass willing me to pick it up, well how could I resist as I was thinking - here's my blip!

A frosty morning with a cold easterly breeze, plenty of sun and a lovely blue sky. I steadily worked in the garden this afternoon, a most productive day.
