A taste of Colorado

This weekend is the annual downtown festival with a full diversity of food & other fare, entertainment and of course people. Really tough choices. Earlier I had met a Muslim woman with a popsicle who said she was from Mali. I told her Timbuktu was on my bucket list. She said it was safe to travel there now.

So when I met these very cute young ladies and their mother, I expected them to also be from West Africa. No, their mother said, we're from Colorado.
