GOLDEN HIGHLIGHTS

Around 7:30 this evening the goldfinch couple appeared again at the feeder. The timing couldn’t have been better for these two yellow birds – with the sun shining through the leaves, they were aglow with the golden accent. (Actually I was glad they showed up just then since today’s other attempts for a blip weren’t successful. I tried everything from flowers to cows, but guess it's back to the birds for today!)
