Center of Deafness

I went to Center of Deafness today (located in Northbrook, IL) for some classroom observation for my class. It was surreal to see another place where Deaf students could learn that didn't include mainstreaming and Deaf schools. The kids were all in middle school and high school, and I did admit I felt strange observing them.

However, I am more than excited to pursue a degree in Deaf education now.
