Seagull over Brighton Pier

It was freezing on Brighton Pier this afternoon. Such a stark contrast to the sunny skies that graced us for the mostly outdoor party at Saltdean yesterday.

The seagulls were riding the thermals over the pier, no doubt with intent to steal a chip or a doughnut from tourists promenading below. We escaped the chill wind and whiled away an hour in the arcade with the children, before going on the dodgems en masse ,and back to Ros's for an early night.
