Duster Bat

Today I rescued a bat that had decided that the best place to sleep for the day was on the floor in the castle right where I was due to hoover or sweep this morning. Luckily for the bat I spotted it and very gently persuaded it to move onto a duster without touching it. I put the duster & bat on a very safe ledge (well out of reach of everyone) near where the other bats live and at the end of the day went to check on it and it had gone so I can only assume (and hope) that it was OK.
