The Way, Way Back

I've had a pretty relaxed weekend really but felt utterly exhausted by 5pm today! had a top end to the weekend by going to the cinema for The Way, Way Back. I absolutely loved it, outsider kid coming of age is my exact favourite kinda film and this was perfect, excellent performances from Rockwell, Collette, Janney and Carrell and the lead boy was so very good, a bit like Patrick Fugit in Almost Famous. I laughed a lot and very loudly, one to own on dvd I think, just wonderful!

went to see Dad in the afternoon and he is now up and out of bed but not yet on his feet. I took him up a thermos of freshly made vegetable soup as he is not enjoying nhs food at all.

This is my first blip in a while that I've managed to upload on the actual day, now to get ready for work, new term tomorrow and technically a new role for me, still no new title yet though! hopefully the paperwork will come through soon!
