Sneakier in large ("L")?

I took lots of low level shots today, and I really liked the colours in the bokeh here. I also think that the grass sticking out of its beak looks a bit like a Fu Manchu moustache...

The good news is that Mr's face looks much less swollen today, so perhaps it was just irritated and inflamed yesterday rather than infected. The bad news is that in spite of our team effort, we were unable to catch him. As soon as we surrounded them, Mr. got totally spooked and knew what was up, and we didn't really get anywhere near him. What a smart goose he is; he's v. handsome too... Ann thinks that the best chance would be to tempt him close by being still and low and offering food, and then just take hold of him by the neck as he reaches in to take the food (apparently a safe strategy), or alternatively catch him by cornering him against one of the pond's fences. She will continue trying to catch him if/when she has time this week. :-( Poor Mr., but at least it doesn't look as serious as it did before; we will catch him, and he will be OK. I wish we'd caught him today...

I've drafted an email to the local paper describing the situation and will offer pictures and even to write an article if necessary... I'm also thinking about who else I can copy in to the message (thus far, I've only come up with local councillors...). Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
